Our designs are hand-printed to order with water soluble ink and can be printed onto organic cotton, plain cotton, hemp, bamboo, or recycled plastic bottle tees. Below are all specifications related to each fabric choice.

Our tee shirt suppliers have been carefully chosen for their product quality and ethical stance. Eko Noiz wants to provide a positive and socially-conscious choice for people who want to avoid clothes made in immoral sweat shops that jeopardise workers' health, where wages are low for long work-days in often cramped conditions, without minimum safety standards or sometimes even appropriate equipment.

All our tees are sourced from companies which make sure their garments are ethically-produced and where personnel operate under fair, safe and well-paid conditions.

We believe that by providing a range of alternative more eco-friendly fabrics we are giving people the opportunity to move away from plain cotton. Our organic t-shirts are made as ethically as possible with a diminished carbon footprint. Read more below...

Eko Noiz aims to provide a positive choice by offering our designs in certified organic cotton and assuring you that our organic tees are the ones with the smallest carbon footprint around having taken care to eliminate the emissions of green-house gases as much as is presently possible, through 'low emission' organic farming, and by achieving carbon neutral status in the manufacturing stage.

Why organic?

Conventional cotton farming is one of agriculture's most environmentally destructive activities. It takes an enormous toll on the earth's air, water, and soil, and significantly affects the health of people living in cotton growing areas.

Organic cotton is grown using methods and materials that have a low impact on the environment and these garments are made with respect for people who manufacture them.

Organic farming methods benefit farmers and their communities by:

* preventing and reducing farmer debt
* improving food stability for farmers as a result of crop rotation
* preventing pollution of the water table
* preventing potential fatal pesticide poisoning of farmers and their families
* improving and maintaining biodiversity

Certified Organic
& Environmentally Friendlier

All cotton used by our suppliers is currently certified as 100% organic under the Global Organic Textile Standard, and is licensed by the Soil Association and certified by the Oeko-Tex 100 Standard, Class I. The cotton t-shirts are made as ethically as possible and the manufacturing facilities have been audited by the Fair Wear Foundation, certified by GOTS, and are being licensed as Fairtrade / Max Havelaar by the FLO.

Not only are our tees organic and ethically produced, but crucially, manufactured solely using sustainable energy generated from wind and solar power. The production of the t-shirts is minimising damage so that we can be conscious that the t-shirts we are selling are taking into account our biggest challenge, climate change.

Our suppliers ship in rather than airfreight the tees so that the carbon footprint generated during transportation is also lowered. You can be assured that our t-shirts demonstrate the highest possible environmental, social
and ethical standards
, in one of the world's most environmentally damaging industries.

Eko Noiz is proud to offer high-quality hemp t-shirts as one of our fabric options. Hemp, one of the oldest plants cultivated by mankind and the most versatile of fibres, is a positive choice from both an environmentally -conscious perspective and one of superior quality.
Hemp is nature’s longest fibre, which means longer garment life as opposed to other plants’ shorter fibres.
Hemp is naturally resistant to mould and UV light.
Hemp is stronger when wet and reveals a new surface with every wash becoming each time softer. Given reasonable care it will last a lifetime. Hemp cloth is extremely hard-wearing and outwears cotton and other natural fibres.

In contrast to cotton, hemp uses virtually no pesticides because it is unpalatable to insects and needs no herbicides because it grows too quickly for any weed to compete.

The more environmentally-friendly hemp crop produces a staggering 250% more fibre than cotton. Not only does it produce a superior quality long-lasting fibre with far less damage to the environment, but it also provides a wide range of other products useful to man. Hemp produces highly nutritious seeds, oils, biofuels, paper and many other products. Read more about this amazing plant in our related facts section.

Our hemp tees are produced in China where there is the oldest tradition of hemp cultivation. Our suppliers visit the factory twice a year to inspect garment quality and maintenance of ethical working conditions.
The tees come in a range of colours - mustard, sky, army, mango, rust, navy, black, heather grey, white.
Presently the ladies' fit only comes in its natural ecru colour.
As mentioned earlier, we have chosen certain combinations but if you would prefer another tee combo, please do not hesitate to contact us on custom@ekonoiz.com. There would be a surcharge of £4 for alternative combos.

NB > Please note that the tee shirt style is mainly a men's tee as they are a large, loose fit (see photos link). They may interest girls who want a very loose tee but it is recommended that girls/ladies go for the ladies fit. We also ask men to check measurements in the table below to make sure of the correct sizing as some have found the sizing to be one size above the usual ie. people who are usually a medium might go for small and usually a large might go for medium instead etc...

Naturally sustainable bamboo is a welcome novelty into the fashion world. Fabric woven from bamboo yarn is light, almost translucent, and softer than cotton. It has a natural quality that feels like silk but has the advantage of being machine-washable.

This natural fibre is hypoallergenic, absorbent, and fast-drying. It is naturally anti-bacterial and will not hold odour.

It is also a very sustainable natural fibre as it is fast-growing. The type of bamboo used for making fabric, commonly known as Moso, can reach maturity in just 45-60 days. Because of its natural antibacterial properties it needs no pesticides. If there is sufficient rainfall, no additional irrigation is required. It regenerates naturally through an extensive root system that sends out an average of four to six new shoots per year.

It can be harvested and harvested and it will grow again and again. When your bamboo garment finishes its useful life it will easily return to the earth as it is 100% biodegradable.

The bamboo used for the fabric in Eko Noiz bamboo tees is planted and grown on family-owned farms in China that have been in agricultural use for generations.
The bamboo tees come in white, black and leaf green and are 70% bamboo fibre mix/ 30% cotton.
The men's bamboo jersey t-shirt (150G/4.4OZ) comes in S, M, L, XL.

The ladies' bamboo jersey t-shirt (115G/3.4OZ) and come in S,M,L.

Eko Noiz believes in looking for cutting-edge technologies which try to deal with our ever-mounting environmental problems. We are delighted to offer a truly eco-fabric which removes plastic from the waste system and transforms it into fibres.

When we stop to think about it realistically, the amount of plastic packaging we use is scary. Where does it all go? Plastic is one of the most problematic wastes to deal with as it is non-biodegradable.

Most plastic waste ends up in landfills but as we start to run out of space, the terrible alternative of burning waste into the atmosphere is a daily reality not often brought to light. The release of toxic chemicals into the air during combustion of waste is associated with a range of human health problems including cancer, reproductive problems and learning disabilities.

Our amazing high-tech t-shirts are made from a 50% recycled plastic bottle fibre and 50% cotton mix.

This more ecologically-correct product uses technology (which incidentally is developed in what we are used to derogatively call the 'third world') to transform PET, a difficult plastic material (think of all soda pop, water bottles, detergents etc.) which can take up to four centuries to decompose in nature, into a wearable fabric. The plastics are collected, separated by colour, washed, ground, granulated and made into fibres to produce thread for making up the fabric.

The tee does not need any special care and is long-lasting. It feels just like an ordinary cotton tee to the touch and breathes well on the body.

Help reduce waste by wearing one of these!
....The tees come in black, white, navy and royal blue
Sizes are S, M, L, XL
